Abstract

With technological advances continuing to develop, several challenges can be overcome through the use of the latest technology in the construction industry known as Building Information Modeling (BIM). Through BIM, all parties involved in the project can work together from the planning phase before project implementation begins, thereby reducing the risk of errors in the development process (Mafrul, 2022). BIM provides the tools necessary to model the entire life cycle of a building, as well as being the basis for addressing changes and advances in the construction industry with good coordination among project teams. Proper application of BIM can improve integration between the design and construction processes, resulting in buildings with better quality, more efficient production costs, and shorter project completion times (Khairi et al., 2022b).
